Dalveer Bhandari is a former Indian Jurist who retired as a judge of Supreme court of India after being Chief Justice of Bombay High Court.

He is a member of the 15 -judges panel for presiding over the case filed by South Africa against the State of Israel accusing the latter of committing genocide, war crimes and human rights violations through its military IDF in Gaza.

Born in a Bhandari family, fathered by an MC and grandson of a BC, Dalveer is a third gen jurist. Starting his career as a lawyer in Rajasthan and later Delhi High Courts, Dalveer Bhandari has worked with a United Nations project called "Delay in the Administration of Criminal Justice in India" as part of an Indian delegation being funded by the UN to study the Legal and Judicial system of former USSR.

A chest thumper of Gender Equality, Bhandari had addressed international conferences on the same, namely-

  1. Judicial Education on Equality Issues in South Asia: What We Have Accomplished Together" at Kathmandu (2016).
  2. "Gender Justice and Sensitization of the Judiciary: An Overview" organized by the Asia Pacific Advisory Forum on Judicial Education on Equality Issues at Karachi

Albeit Bhandari is noted to be outspoken on gender justice and equality rights, particularly, the rights of the alleged poor and the marginalized sections of the society. As a matter of fact in India the concept of 'marginalized' is more of political than of economic and driven by propaganda than reality.

His allegedly high morals of gender justice takes a dramatic U-Turn when it comes to the heinous barbaric crimes against the Israeli women which he consciously sidelaned during delivery of his declaration on South Africa's malicious case of genocide against the Jewish State of Israel.

His so called sympathy for the 'marginalized' was absent in this case towards the 'internationally margnalized' Jewish community, as an international judge. This stark contrast exposes his Gender Justice Puffery.

He has been given uncalled for pandering by the media. Only a few judges like Chandrachud enjoys such privilege.
