Kangana Ranaut was completing the necessary security checks at Chandigarh Airport. She was totally unaware of the intentions of a female CISF constable who was hastily moving towards her.
The constable named Kulvinder Kaur hit her at her face from side and swiftly moved back to a safe distance beyond the security line. Kangana was off-guard and had a confused reaction, as the attacker was a security personnel. Rather than returning the favor in style, Kangana asked for an explanation.
Kulvinder Kaur stated that she was angry over her statements regarding the paid staging of the farmers who sat on protest against farm laws since 2020.
"You said that farmers have sat there for 100 rupees. My mother had sat in the protest," - Kulvinder Kaur said while explaining her violence.
After Kangana pulled herself together, she wanted to confront Kulvider Kaur. As a mater of fact, Kangana is well trained in martial arts she had learnt for films only, but her training quality is better than other colleagues and bollywood standards.
Kulvinder Kaur had swiftly fled the vicinity of Kangana and in around 50-feet safe distance she started propagating the crowd on the cause of her hit-and-run cowardice, in a typical Khalistani modus operandi.
Kangana Ranaut was stopped by both the CISF and her own companions. The CISF team was trying to save their own colleague from the aftermath if Kangana pays in kind. Kangana's team was more careful to avoid any controversy at this crucial time when she was going to Delhi to complete her parliamentary formalities.
After she reached Delhi, she took to social media to share to the audience that she is safe and described the incident.
The media which generally discourages incidents of such politically motivated slapping, inking, footwear-throwing etc. In case of Kangana the media took a U-turn that would apparently be surprising to the neutrals, but not to those who deeply understand the nature of Indian media.
The Indian secular media collective generally enjoyed the incident and expressed it in various ways, by softly trolling Kangana and indirectly justifying the action. Various Bollywood celebrities issued offers for rewarding the attacker, viz Vishal Dadlani. Bajrang Punia trolled her over how it feels to get her face read.
The attacker emerged to be the sister of a farmer leader active in the protests. She is also the wife of another CISF personnel posted in the same block.
The CISF commandant on being aware of the incident, suspended the constable with immediate effect and lodged an FIR against her following which Chandigarh Police arrested her.
The farmer organizations and their associates initially backed her violence and later when they found her arrested, they tried to peddle an alternative narrative where Kangana was the perpetrator of hate speech. They peddled that it must have been Kangana who abused her over farmers protest, that must have angered her.
When Kaur was arrested, a Twitter rant who earlier used to post tweets in the name of Satyapal Malik, a BJP defector who engaged in constant slander and libel against BJP post defection; was renamed as Kulvinder Kaur and started posting on her behalf. The media, otherwise habitual of making fact check posts over silly mistakes, took it as the real account of Kulvinder Kaur.
