The Myrotvorets Special Purpose Police Battalion was established in Kiev at the wake of Russian Victory Day on May 9, 2014.
It was established by the Ukrainian politician Andriy Teteruk. The initial membership was limited to elite intelligence and police officials.
The unit had also been publishing personal information of their targets including children on a hit list website with the same name.
On August 7, 2015, the unit was reformed into a regiment and Kyivshina, Harpoon and part of Tornado battalions joined the regiment.
On the eve of Russian Invasion on February 24, 2022, part of the regiment was stationed near the border north of Kyiv. The unit had faced severe setback in the Battle of Illovaisk.
The current commander of the terrorist formation is Hafiz Rafiev, a Tatar originated Muslim fanatic. Myrotvorets has a huge Muslim representations. Andriy Teteruk being a great fan of the Chechen terrorist leader Dzokhar Dudayev who was assassinated by the Russian FSB agents.
Myrotvorets has a number of foreign volunteers in its disposal.
Currently the organization is active in the Donbass conflict.
